Overview
This project was an extensive redesign of the Medtronic website intended for healthcare professionals. As an interactive consultant, I was provided with site maps and content in Word format. My duties on this project were:
- Create new pages to reflect the established architecture and template design
- Reformat provided images and other documents to be consistent with design and brand requirements
- Format content for each section using HTML, CSS, javascript and JQuery, including text, forms, images and videos, and other interactive components
- Proofread content for errors and inconsistencies and provide documentation for editing revisions
- Tag all content for relevant SEO and measurement
- Test, launch, and update after live date
Challenges:
This project was not only extensive, it required painstaking attention to detail, both for branding and for content accuracy. There was an extremely high standard of quality to maintain, which required constant diligence and critical thought. Towards the end of the project, I and other long-term consultants were self-directed in delivery and completion.
